Cravetv is a Canadian-based bilingual TV and streaming service that offers a generous library of movies and series, including HBO classics, Showtime hits, and even some original programming. How much is Crave TV?
Crave Canada has three different subscription plans that customers can choose from when registering.

- Standard (with ads) – The standard (with ads) subscription is $14.99 per month
- Premium (ad free) – The premium subscription without ads is $22.00 per month.
Customers can also subscribe to the STARZ add-on, which offers thousands of modern classic movies and other content. The STARZ add-on can be combined with your standalone Crave TV subscription for an additional fee of CAD$5.99 per month.

Does Crave TV Offer A Free Trial?
Unfortunately, Crave TV no longer offers a 7 day free trial to allow new users to test run the streaming service before committing to a paid subscription. The only way to stream Crave TV content is by subscribing to one of the paid plans. As the above chart shows, Crave TV is one of the most expensive streaming services available in Canada and many users may be reluctant to add another monthly expense to their other monthly streaming subscription costs. However, there are several compelling reasons to consider subscribing to Crave TV.

Is Crave available on Amazon Prime?
In February 2024, Bell announced that it had signed an agreement with Amazon to bring Crave to Amazon’s Prime Video service in Canada. Under the agreement, Crave’s ad-free Premium membership, which costs $22/month will be available as an add-on through Amazon Prime. This means users will be able to subscribe to Crave directly through Prime Video. Crave’s two lower-cost, ad-enabled subscription plans will continue to only be offered directly from Crave.
To avoid confusion, it is important to note that you will need a Crave subscription in order to access Crave content, regardless of whether you subscribe directly from Crave or through Amazon Prime Video. The benefit of subscribing through Amazon Prime is that you are only paying for one subscription because Crave is an add-on to your Amazon Prime membership. Furthermore, Crave has historically struggled with inferior bitrate as compared to other streaming services. It remains to be seen whether this will improve with Crave’s partnership with Amazon.
